Yu Kyung Koh

I am a postdoctoral researcher in the Department of Economics at McGill University. I received my Ph.D. in Economics from Columbia University in 2023. 

My research interests lie in applied microeconomics, labor economics, and family economics. I use rich datasets, causal inference, and structural modeling to study topics such as gender-specific labor market shocks, intrahousehold resource allocation, marriage markets, and the aging population.  

I am also interested in applying NLP and large language models to uncover insights from text data. Check out my personal project on job posting analytics here.
